About Us
White Plains Plainsmen (WP Plainsmen) is a youth ice hockey club that is governed and overseen by the City of White Plains Recreation and Parks Department. The club is primarily organized and run by the White Plains Plainsmen Hockey Club which is an independent, volunteer booster organization dedicated to providing a high quality, competitive, youth ice hockey program focusing on the important values of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and respect for one another. We achieve our mission by following USA Hockey guidelines, NYSAHA and the ADM model. We are constantly adapting our program to meet the changing needs of players and families.
The White Plains Plainsmen Hockey Club is an active 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization run by a Board of Volunteers to assist in raising money to support the players of the WP Plainsmen Hockey program. The volunteer organization holds several fundraisers each year to help in awarding a scholarship fund, donate practice jerseys, assist in tournament fees, support Coach resources and fund other aspects of the hockey community.
